Will You Spread My Word for Me?

This publication has the Nihil Obstat and Imprimatur, which are official Church declarations that nothing within this publication goes against the truths of the Catholic faith.

Will You Spread My Word for Me? is an excellent read for those who are looking for inspiration and ideas on how to share their faith. It is also great for those just getting familiar with the Catholic faith. This book contains the stories of how the author, Sean McVeigh, went into the streets, door to door, and discerningly watched for the Holy Spirit to provide opportunities for him to speak to anyone in his circle of influence about his love for Jesus and the Catholic faith. Through these pages, you get to see Sean’s successes and mistakes, which in turn will help you learn how to share your beliefs with others. It will also help you learn how to avoid some of the things Sean did incorrectly.

Sean makes no excuses for the fullness of truth that can only be found in the Catholic Church. Even if someone disagrees with him, he gently holds his ground regarding the truths that are found in the Catholic Church. In fact, many years ago, Sean was evangelizing on an airplane while flying home from providing a guest speaking event he gave in Canada. The gentleman sitting next to him on the plane believed in reincarnation. Sean gently disagreed and shared how this concept goes against what is revealed by God and is recorded in Scripture (Hebrews 9:27). The gentleman was so offended that Sean disagreed with him that the gentleman later wrote a bashing review on Amazon against Sean and this book.

This is a great example of how we need to always do our best to gently share the faith, yet be prepared to have some people react negatively no matter what we do or how intently we try to gently share the facts that God has revealed. If you read this man’s review on Amazon and then read Sean’s book, you can decide for yourself what you think, but everyone else seems to love this publication! You be the judge.
